Montus, an attractive Hotel

The old Château Montus winery is now dedicated to all private or professional events.

Its original architecture, its constructions out of vine pebbles, its vaulted split oak naves make it a unique place in its concept. The decor is perfectly suited for all functions based on wine.

Situated 40Km from Tarbes, Château Montus welcomes you in the heart of the Madiran vines and lets you discover the riches of this vineyard...

The function room (old winery) is ideal for your seated function and can accommodate up to 300 persons.

In addition to the large function room, the Château Montus terrace is available for cocktails. With its beautiful view on the Adour Valley and the listed village of Mazères, it can accommodate up to 150 persons.

The Montus lounges with their warm colours can be turned into relaxation parlours for sipping Armagnac and allowing your guests to relax before, during or after a function!

Rooms
The ten rooms with their charming and unique decor, evoke the life of Bacchus in Montus. Each room was designed by a couple of contemporary artists. Visitors, Art and wine enthusiasts and collectors will be immersed in an unreal and festive decor celebrating the mythology of wine.

You are invited to the tasting room and sales area to taste Alain Brumont’s wines, of which the vintages range from the more traditional to futuristic wines and are classed amongst some of the best wines in the world. The guided tour of the Montus winery by an Oenologist, brings you to the heart of the mystery of wine ageing, where you will find new kinds of unusual wines, creations and discoveries by Alain Brumont.
